Stanford University Building Energy Saving Project
Project Overview
Stanford University undertook a roof cooling retrofit on campus buildings with the goal of reducing surface temperature and lowering indoor cooling load without additional electricity consumption.
Solution
OiCE passive zero-electricity cooling coating was applied across the full roof area. Through heat absorption, dissipation, reflection and radiation conversion, it significantly reduced roof surface temperature, easing the building's cooling load with zero energy input and zero carbon emissions.
