Product Overview
SLETU-902 is a three-component epoxy repair mortar comprising Part A epoxy resin, Part B polyamide curing agent and Part C hard mineral aggregate, mixed on site. Once cured it forms a high-strength, water-resistant rigid repair matrix used for filling and levelling concrete potholes, honeycombing, defects, shallow cracks and level differences. The repair layer anchors strongly to the original concrete and provides a flat, firm base for SLETU-901 primer, SLETU-101 underwater coating and SLEME anti-slip elastic sheets.
This technical data sheet is compiled in accordance with ASTM epoxy repair material standards, EN 1504-3, ISO 14801, EU REACH, RoHS 2.0 and ISO 11014. It addresses common engineering problems on cementitious substrates such as potholes, chipped corners, depressions, honeycombing and locally insufficient strength.
1. Product Identification
| Product name | SLETU-902 Base Repair Epoxy Mortar (General Purpose) |
| Product type | Three-component epoxy repair mortar: Part A epoxy resin, Part B polyamide curing agent, Part C hard mineral aggregate, mixed on site |
| Structural principle | An epoxy resin with a polyamide curing system, blended with selected hard mineral aggregate. Once cured it forms a high-strength, water-resistant rigid repair matrix used for concrete potholes, honeycombing, defects, shallow cracks and level differences. The repair layer anchors strongly to the original concrete, leaving a flat and firm repair surface. It can be applied to damp substrates free of standing water, serving as the substrate repair material for the complete OiCE water-contact system and providing a flat, firm foundation for SLETU-901 primer, SLETU-101 underwater coating and SLEME anti-slip elastic sheets. |
| Suitable substrates | Concrete and cement mortar substrates. Suitable for repairing and levelling defects on sound cementitious substrates in dry or damp (standing-water-free) condition. |
| Typical applications | Water park pool bodies and slides, public pool decks and floors, children's splash pools, aquariums and landscape water features — used for pre-treatment of potholes, honeycombing, defects, shallow cracks and local level differences, in combination with SLEME and OiCE topcoat systems |
2. Key Features
2.1 Three-component epoxy system, high-strength repair — Epoxy with polyamide curing and hard mineral aggregate gives high compressive and bond strength after cure. The repair layer is firm and abrasion resistant and resists cracking.
2.2 Applicable to damp substrates — The polyamide-cured epoxy system allows application on damp substrates free of standing water, suited to pool and water park sites that cannot be fully dried.
2.3 Water and chlorine resistant for long-term water contact — The cured repair layer resists water and pool chlorinated disinfectant attack and performs stably under alternating wet and dry conditions without dissolving or softening.
2.4 High-strength anchoring to existing concrete — Bonds firmly to the existing cementitious substrate and has good interfacial compatibility with SLETU-901 high penetration epoxy primer, ensuring adhesion of subsequent topcoats.
2.5 Adjustable working consistency — The aggregate grading allows slight adjustment of mixing consistency, suitable for pothole filling, defect repair and thin-layer levelling.
2.6 Low shrinkage, resists cracking — Low volumetric shrinkage on cure, so micro-cracks are unlikely after repair, preserving substrate integrity.
2.7 Environmentally safe and compliant — Low leaching after cure, meeting material safety requirements for water-contact structures; compliant with EU REACH and RoHS 2.0.
2.8 Full OiCE system compatibility — A system repair material used together with SLETU primer, underwater coating and SLEME elastic sheet installation systems.
3. Technical Data (ASTM / EN)
All values are tested on the fully cured mortar as a whole, in line with third-party testing standards for European and North American public water-contact facilities. Bond strength, compressive strength, immersion resistance and environmental indices meet overseas pool and aquarium admission requirements.

| Recommended application thickness per pass | 2–20 mm (thick layers to be built up in stages) | EN 1504-3 |
| Compressive strength (7 d) | ≥ 60 MPa | ASTM C579 |
| Bond strength (concrete substrate) | ≥ 2.5 MPa, cohesive failure within substrate | ASTM D4541 |
| Environmental compliance | REACH SVHC and RoHS 2.0 compliant; free of lead, cadmium, chromium and mercury; low leaching after cure | EU REACH / RoHS |
4. Application Instructions (for water-contact works)
4.1 Substrate preparation — The substrate must be sound. Remove loose sand, oil, moss, loose or broken concrete and aged coatings. At potholes and defects, chisel out loose material back to sound substrate; at cracks, widen and clean the crack. The substrate may be damp but must be free of standing or pooled water.
4.2 Application conditions — Ambient temperature 10–35 °C; substrate temperature at least 3 °C above dew point; relative humidity ≤ 85 %. Do not apply in rainstorms or frost.
4.3 Repair procedure
4.3.1 Mix Part A resin and Part B curing agent at the specified ratio and stir thoroughly, then add Part C mineral aggregate and continue mixing until the aggregate is fully wetted. The mix must be used within the pot life; material beyond that time must not be used.
4.3.2 Fill potholes and defects in layers; a single thick layer should not exceed 20 mm. Control thickness for large-area thin-layer levelling. Finish the repair surface flat and smooth.
4.3.3 After repair, cure at ambient temperature. SLETU-901 high penetration epoxy primer may only be applied once the repair mortar is fully cured and ground flat.
4.3.4 Curing: light touch after 24 h at ambient temperature; final strength after full 7-day cure. Avoid water exposure, water scouring and heavy impact during curing.
4.3.5 Recommended system — Substrate chipping and cleaning → SLETU-902 epoxy mortar pothole and defect repair and levelling → curing and grinding → SLETU-901 high penetration epoxy primer → SLETU-101 topcoat or SLEME elastic sheet installation.
5. Packaging and Storage
5.1 Packaging — Parts A and B are supplied in separately sealed steel pails; Part C aggregate is bagged. Each set is marked with model, batch, mixing ratio and net weight, and is supplied with a product certificate and safety data sheet.
5.2 Storage — Store indoors in a cool, ventilated place at 10–30 °C, away from open flames, heat sources and oxidisers, protected from light. Store Parts A, B and C separately and keep sealed to prevent damp ingress. Factory-sealed shelf life 12 months.
5.3 Transport — Transport protected from light and rain, avoiding prolonged sun exposure and high temperature. Follow chemical transport regulations and avoid impact damage.
