Guangzhou, October 2026 — The Guangzhou manufacturing base of Enjoycool Technology has completed its third production line expansion, adding capacity for waterborne fluorosilicone cooling coatings, elastic rubber-plastic paving tiles and epoxy-urea bond underwater coatings.

The expansion supports growing demand from two directions: passive radiative cooling projects in the energy storage, data centre and cold-chain sectors, and water park new-build and renovation projects across Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

Why capacity became the constraint

Underwater decorative coatings and cooling topcoats share a characteristic that makes them hard to scale quickly: both are two-component systems that must be manufactured in matched ratios and cannot be stockpiled for long periods before use. A 10:1 fluorosilicone kit, for example, has a twelve-month shelf life when sealed and a four-hour pot life once mixed — which means the supply chain has to be sized to project schedules, not to warehouse capacity.

When a water park renovation runs through a six-week window between seasons, the material has to arrive in the right quantity, in the right ratio, on the right day. Running out mid-project is not a delay that can be absorbed.

What the expansion changes

Dispersion and mixing. Additional high-shear dispersion capacity for the quantum spectral control fillers used in the OiCE range. These fillers are what drive solar reflectance above 0.92 and infrared emittance above 0.92, and their dispersion quality directly determines whether a batch meets specification.

Coating line. A second line for the PET cooling film used in the OICE-302 self-adhesive membrane, laminated with butyl adhesive. The line adds width and length flexibility, which matters because roofing projects frequently need custom roll lengths to reduce overlap waste.

Rubber-plastic sheet. Expanded calendering and vulcanisation capacity for the OICE-303 soft brick and the SLEME elastic sheet range, including the 5 mm comfort sheet with its foam cushion interlayer.

Quality control. An expanded laboratory covering solar reflectance measurement, infrared emittance measurement, salt spray, xenon-arc weathering, adhesion and slip resistance testing, so that batch release data is generated in-house rather than sent to a third party.

Supporting the project cycle

Beyond raw capacity, the base now holds buffer stock of the four primer and mortar products that every SLETU system build-up depends on — SLETU-901 high-penetration epoxy primer, SLETU-902 base repair mortar, SLETU-903 elastic tile adhesive and SLETU-904 elastic brick adhesive.

These are the products that get consumed fastest on site and ordered latest, because they are applied in the first days of a build and their quantities depend on how much substrate repair the contractor actually finds when the old surface comes off. Holding buffer stock of the ancillaries, rather than of the visible topcoats, is what keeps a project from stalling in its first week.

Manufacturing and engineering in one place

Because the base runs both material production and engineering application teams, site feedback returns to formulation quickly. A contractor reporting that a primer is flashing off too fast at 38 degrees Celsius, or that a mortar is not building the required thickness on a particular substrate, is talking to the people who can adjust the batch — not to a distributor passing a message back up a chain.

That loop is what the expansion is really protecting. Capacity without the ability to respond to field conditions produces volume, not projects that close on schedule.
