Hong Kong, October 2026 — Enjoycool Technology operates two material brands that address the surface of a water park from opposite directions. OiCE treats surfaces that are exposed to the sun; SLETU and SLEME treat surfaces that are under water.

The split is not a marketing exercise. It reflects two distinct material chemistries, two different failure mechanisms and two separate standards frameworks — and understanding where each brand applies is the first step in specifying a facility correctly.

OiCE — surfaces exposed to the sun

OiCE is built on passive radiative cooling: the surface reflects solar radiation across the visible and near-infrared spectrum while emitting heat in the atmospheric window between 8 and 13 micrometres. The result is a surface that sits below ambient temperature under direct sun without consuming energy.

On a water park this matters in a way that is immediately physical. A concrete pool deck or a steel stair platform in full summer sun will reach temperatures that make barefoot crossing painful and, in some cases, cause burns. An OiCE surface reduces both the surface temperature and the internal heat load of whatever it covers.

The same chemistry scales to industrial applications: energy storage cabinets, computing facilities, oil and gas storage tanks, cold-chain warehouses and power distribution equipment all benefit from the same reduction in surface heat gain.

SLETU and SLEME — surfaces under water

SLETU is a water-contact coating and ancillary system. The centrepiece is SLETU-101 True Ceramic Underwater Coating, a two-component system that can be applied to damp substrates and cures underwater. Around it sits a documented build-up: SLETU-902 repair mortar for substrate defects, SLETU-901 high-penetration epoxy primer for porous concrete, and SLETU-903 or SLETU-904 elastic adhesive for bonding decorative surfacing.

SLEME is the decorative layer that goes on top in wet pedestrian areas: water-resistant, breathable, anti-slip elastic membranes and tiles in 1.5 mm, 5 mm and impact-absorbing grades. These are the surfaces a guest actually walks on, and they carry the requirements that go with that — wet slip resistance, thermal comfort, cushioning and resistance to continuous chlorinated water.

Where the two meet

The brands converge in one place: the water park deck. A pool edge is simultaneously a sun-exposed surface and a water-contact surface. The adjacent deck may be OiCE cooling paving, the pool interior is SLETU coating, and the walkway between them is SLEME elastic membrane.

Specifying that junction correctly requires the two systems to be compatible at the interface — which is why the company documents system build-ups rather than individual products. A coating that performs to specification in isolation can still fail if the adjacent material moves differently, cures at a different rate or bonds poorly to the substrate the other system requires.

Why a single manufacturer for both

The practical advantage of running both brands under one roof is interface control. When a project has one supplier for the cooling deck, another for the pool coating and a third for the decorative membrane, responsibility for a failure at the joint is disputed by default. With one manufacturer, the interface is specified, tested and warranted by the same party.

The second advantage is schedule. Water park projects compress material delivery into a narrow window between seasons. Coordinating three suppliers across a six-week application programme is a coordination risk that does not need to exist.

Positioning in the market

OiCE occupies the passive cooling segment, where the competing options are reflective white coatings, cool-roof membranes and, in some markets, active cooling systems. The differentiator is the combination of high solar reflectance with high infrared emittance, which produces cooling rather than simply reduced heat gain.

SLETU and SLEME occupy the premium underwater decorative segment, competing against conventional pool tiling, epoxy pool paints and imported elastomeric surfacing. The differentiator is the documented system — repair, prime, coat, decorate — with performance data reported against the standards that public procurement and international developers require.
